Participation in SMPLY is structured around clearly defined relationships and the applicable written agreement.
Independent Participation
Participation in SMPLY does not automatically create an employment, partnership, joint venture, franchise or agency relationship. Publishers may participate as independent network participants subject to the applicable agreement and campaign terms.
Rights Retained
Creators and advertisers retain rights specified in their respective agreements. Participation in a campaign does not automatically transfer intellectual-property ownership.
Compensation
Publisher compensation is determined according to applicable campaign terms and qualifying performance. Invalid, fraudulent, manipulated or otherwise ineligible activity may be excluded.
Governing Agreement
Content permissions, licenses, exclusivity, compensation, termination rights and other material obligations should be governed by the applicable written agreement.
